First, I’d like to thank Ian Qvist (genbox from Farseer Physics forums) for agreeing to take on the task of moving the Farseer Physics Engine forward.
For the foreseeable future, he will be leading the efforts and setting the direction for the Farseer Physics Engine. I asked genbox to take on this responsibility when I came to the conclusion that I just did not have the time to dedicate to it. He accepted and here we are with a new alpha version of the engine. :-)
Right now this alpha version of the engine mostly contains a much needed scrubbing of the code. Ian has refactored it and cleaned it while keeping the simplicity of the API intact.
He is currently working with the community to figure out what new features to add.
You can find out all the details and grab the latest release here:

Ian has also took the time and effort to integrate the source properly into the CodePlex source control system so those with TFS or the free Tortoise SVN (I think that is supported by CodePlex now) can grab the very latest bits as they are developed.
Have Fun!
