I should have the first alpha release of Diver out in the next couple days. In the mean time, here is a new video and some new screen shots. I've also updated the Diver landing page.

Oh my god! Looks amazing! Great game idea and great look'n'feel of the game. Really looking forward to try this out. Have you thought about having an online hiscore system of some sort?

Thanks, Mads. I haven't thought to much about online high-score, but I have been thinking about an online editor so people can make there own levels that others can play. I'd also like to have the ability to record, post, and play back other peoples dives. Right now the game doesn't really have a running "score". If I decide to add that then I would definetly want an online high score system. I have lots of ideas... just need the dev time. BTW, there is an easter egg in the current landing page. Click "( coming soon ) and you can dive off the platform. Sweep the mouse in a backward "C" to back flip off the platform. Click near the center of the screen to reset the dive -Jeff

Jeff, Awesome site. Played with your silverlight samples on the train coming home and showed them to my son tonight - he was transfixed. This got me thinking. With a suitable UI, the library could be a great teaching aid for Physics. I will work on this idea - but in short, I envision a web based "fun" tool for creating your own environments and seeing what happens. If anyone is interested in the idea, I would love to know. -Mark
